Kevin Lee Stier

Kevin L. Stier, age 40, of Minneapolis died on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Good Samaritan - University Specialty Care Center in Minneapolis. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. John Zeitler will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Kevin was born on January 5, 1970 to Darrell and Marvalla (Schultz) Stier in Shakopee, MN. He grew up in Belle Plaine and attended Belle Plaine Schools. After school, Kevin worked driving gravel truck. In 2000, He was officially diagnosed with Huntington's. Kevin was a free spirit and loved sports, playing video games and watching movies. He especially liked watching the Twins and Vikings. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marvalla; brother, Gary; all grandparents and 3 uncles. He is survived by his son, Michael of Weston, WI; father, Darrell (Special Friend, Mariann Brandl) Stier of New Prague; brothers, Gene ( Diane) Stier of Hamburg and Ernie (Special Friend, Liz McCormick) Stier of Jordan; Nieces and Nephews, Andrew (Krista) Stier of Chaska, Adam Stier of Fort Knox, KY, and Clair Stier of Jordan.
