Kevin N. Wilke

Kevin N. Wilke, age 60 of Le Sueur died on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Ridgview Medical Facility in Le Sueur. Celebration & Sharing of Kevin's Life will be on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. at The Bar in Le Sueur. Kevin was born on December 12, 1957 in Mankato, MN to Norman & Bernadette (Murphy) Wilke. He grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur High School where he participated in baseball, basketball and football. He graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1976. Kevin bartended in Le Sueur at the Time Out, G-Willikers and Schoops Bar. He married Robin LaBelle on October 16, 1982 at St. Anne's Church, Le Sueur, MN. Kevin later worked for LaBelle's Alignment and Towing in Le Sueur, operating the radiator repair area and later owned K & R Specialties, (sporting vehicles and snowmobiles). He found his way into city politics and was Ward #1 Councilman for the City of Le Sueur from 2014 until the present. He was a 20-year member of the LeSueur Fire Department. Kevin enjoyed snowmobiling, snowmobile racing with family and friends and especially the antique snowmobiles. His common pastime was driving around town in his red pickup visiting with his constituents & friends about happenings in the town. He is survived by his wife Robin and son Kris (Cassie) Wilke of Le Sueur. Brothers; Konnie (Sue) Wilke of Muscatine, Iowa and Kurt Wilke of Le Sueur, MN. Many other relatives, in-laws and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Rita LaBelle.
