Leah Ann Enbom, age 59 of Arlington died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Gaylord, MN. Visitation will be on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN. Visitation will continue on Tuesday morning at church one hour prior the services. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gaylord, MN. Pastor James King will officiate the services. Leah was born on July 25, 1958 to LeRoy & Ardina (Hildebrandt) Hed in Gaylord, MN. She grew up on a farm between Gaylord and Winthrop. She graduated from Gaylord High School in 1976. She married Clark Enbom on May 6, 1978. The couple lived in Arlington for many years and Leah worked at various jobs including The Prairie House, Lemages in Arlington, Finger Hut, M.G. Wallbaums and T.S.E. and most recently Kato Cable in Mankato, MN. Clark died in 2006. Leah enjoyed and had a passion for sewing her entire life and two years before her illness, Leah started a sewing business out of her home. Leah is survived by her special friend and partner, Michael Ivorsen of Arlington; brothers, Jeff Hed and special friend Karen Burch of De Smet, S.D, Keith (Ruth) Hed of Park Rapids, MN and Loren (Laurel) Hed of Menahga, MN. Sisters and brothers-in-law; Sonia Miller, Barb Jeno and Duane Enbom. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law; husband, Clark and sister-in-law, Anna Mae Hotakainen.
