Leo Darryl Ely

Leo Darryl Ely age 69 of Montgomery and formerly of LeSueur died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Mayo Hospital in New Prague, Minnesota.  He was born in Crosby, Minnesota on March 11, 1955 to Sidney and Agnes (Harty) Ely.  He grew up in LeSueur and worked various jobs including the LeSueur Foundry.

Leo is survived by a sister-in-law, Char Ely of Jordan, and his cousins.

Leo enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and football.    Leo enjoyed spending time with friends in his group home in Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Agnes and brothers, Randy and Tom, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Private interment services will be held at the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur at a later date.
