Leola I. Breid

Leola Ida Breid, age 91 of Le Sueur, formerly of the metro area died on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Memorial services are set for Wednesday, April 17, 11:00 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral Home. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Rev. John Roschen will officiate the services. Leola was born on Dec. 6, 1921 in Sharon Township, Le Sueur County to Charles and Emma (Tiede) Braun. She grew up in the Sharon Township area and later married Albert Breid at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. The couple lived and worked at a Super Valu store in Excelsior for many years and Lund's Country Village. She is survived by many nieces and nephes. She is preceded in death by her husband. Brothers; William Braun, Edward Braun, Harry Braun, Ambrose "Speed" Braun & Alba Braun. Sisters; Caroline Thelemann, Hulda Van Buren, Leona Schwartz, Evelyn Randen, Mabel Braun, Mayme Braun and an infant sister.
