Leona Marie Rademacher

Leona Marie Rademacher, age 89 of LeSueur died on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Minnesota Health Care Center Facility in LeSueur. She was born on March 24 1926 in Tyrone Township, LeSueur County to Otto and Martha (Gerhke) Tiegs. She was confirmed on April of 1939 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. She attended country school in Tyrone Township and graduated from LeSueur High School. Leona married Edward Rademacher on September 26, 1946 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. She worked for Osborne Labs, Hubbard Milling, seasonally at Green Giant and house cleaning in LeSueur. Leona enjoyed her large garden and yard. She also enjoyed helping others. She is survived by her children; Bonnie (Dale) Wolpern of Belle Plaine, Willie (Shirley) Rademacher of LeSueur, Delores Bock of St. Peter, Dorothy (Tim) Pesek of Henderson and Gary Rademacher of LeSueur. 13 grandchildren; Kevin (Sandi) Wolpern, Laurie (Paul) Fogarty, Vicki (Tom) Pomplun, Jodi (Matt) Bertrang, Jeff (Tammy) Pesek, Kari Jo (Mike) Hodges, Jennifer (Pat) Otto, Branden (Elise) Rademacher, Trent Rademacher, Travis Radermacher, Wayne (Marla) Bock, Chad Bock & April (Brad) Hornemann; 21 great-grandchildren and 1great-great-granddaughter; sisters-in-law, Joyce Arns of Shakopee and Anna Mae Brenke of St. Peter and brother-in-law, Wilmar (Mary) Rademacher of N. Mankato. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Edward in 1990, son-in-law, George Bock, sister, Nelda Petzel and brother, Eldon "Tommy" Tiegs and many half-brothers and half-sisters as well as other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in LeSueur. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. (Photo to follow on Saturday).....
