Leroy C. Nagel

LeRoy Nagel, age 77 of rural LeSueur died on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1942 on the family farm in Henderson Township to George and Dorothea (Boelter) Nagel.  He graduated from LeSueur High School and he farmed with his brothers in Henderson Township most of his working life.  He entered the U. S. Army in 1964 and served in Germany.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the sales barn and attending auction sales.  Time spent with his family was a joy for LeRoy.

He is survived by his brothers, Gordon, Marvin and Donald Nagel of LeSueur and sisters, Dolores Hedman of Pequot Lakes, Carol (Boyd) Hansen of Mankato and Peggy Thompson of Hankinson, ND.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wesley and Kenneth and 3 sisters, Betty, Audrey and Shirley as well as a brother-in-law, Dennis Hedman. He entered the U. S. Army in 1964 and served in Germany.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the sales barn and attending auction sales.  Time spent with his family was a joy for LeRoy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur.  Rev. Rosemary Rocha will officiate.  Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
