Liane Anna Fleischmann

Liane A. Fleischmann, age 83 of Le Sueur, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Following the service lunch will be served at the First Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Liane was born on September 11, 1929 to George and Emma (Leypold) Treitinger in Nuremberg, Germany. She married Alois K. Fleischmann on June 22, 1950 in Nuremberg, Germany. They moved to Minnesota on July 17, 1956. She enjoyed doing water aerobics at the Le Sueur Community Center, having lunch with her neighbors and spending time with her grandchildren. Liane is survived by her son, Donald Fleischmann of Edina; grandson, John Reid Fleischmann of Edina and granddaughter, Kathleen Maire Fleischmann of Newport News, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alois in '96 and son, Alois, Jr. in '71.
