Linda Lou Brandt

Linda L. Brandt, age 77 of Le Sueur, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Abbott NW Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur on Thursday, April 16 and will continue the morning of the Mass at the funeral home from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Linda was born on December 28, 1937 to Heinrich and Esther (Bird) Rannow in Henderson. She married Marvin Brandt on September 15, 1962. She worked as an LPN at the Le Sueur Hospital in her younger years. She also managed the Le Sueur Dairy Queen. More recently she owned Brandt's Valley Crafts. Linda enjoyed going to craft shows and shopping at thrift stores. She especially enjoyed spending time with her many grand and great-grandchildren. Linda is survived by her children, Rick (Clarine) Andresen of Richardson, TX, John (Mary) Andresen of Le Sueur, Jim (late Kathy) Andresen of St. Peter, Doug Brandt & special friend Jeff of LaFayette, MN, Dave (Gail) Brandt of Le Sueur, Danny (Sally) Brandt of Le Sueur and Deb (Al) Schroer of Le Sueur; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 13 brothers and sisters and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Richard (Dick) Andresen in '59; husband, Marvin Brandt in 2013 and daughter-in-law, Kathy Andresen.
