Lisa H. Yahnke

Lisa H. Yahnke, age 53 of Belle Plaine, died at her home with her family on Friday, October 26, 2018. Memorial services will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mark Johnson will officiate the services. Lisa was born on August 29, 1965 in Waconia, MN to Robert & Doris (Jezierski) Koepp. She grew up in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. She worked for a short time at Emma Krumbee's Ice Cream Shop and Huber's Grocery before beginning a long 35 year career with Fingerhut in Eden Prairie. She married Ronald Yahnke on June 16, 1990 in Sauk Centre, MN. The couple raised their family in Belle Plaine, MN. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling and camping with family. She taught Sunday School and confirmation at St. John Lutheran Church for many years. She is survived by her husband Ronald; son, Nathan Yahnke of Belle Plaine, MN; daughter, Miranda (Peter) Widmer of New Prague, MN and Brady Yahnke and Girlfriend, Sam Tharaldson of Belle Plaine, MN. Siblings; Pastor Robert (Julie) Koepp of Menomonie, WI; Jean (Tim) Soller of Belle Plaine, MN; Bill (Diane) Koepp of Ogilvie, MN and Lori (Jay) Schmit of Belle Plaine, MN. Father and Mother-in-law; Lowell & Charlotte Yahnke of Princeton, MN. Sisters-in-law; Rae Ann (Floyd) Bohlman of Jordan, MN and Robin Claassen of Princeton, MN, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Roger Claassen; niece, Kari Soller.
