Lois A. Beseke

Lois A. Beseke, age 81 of Henderson died on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 29, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. Rev. Brigit Stevens will officiate the services. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at church. Interment will be private at Brown Cemetery in Henderson. She was born on Nov. 20, 1929 to Henry & Wilhelmina (Griesbach) Rau in Henderson, MN. Her family moved to the Norwood area for a short time before returning to Henderson where she graduated from Henderson High School. She married William Beseke on August 8, 1953 in St. Paul, MN where the couple lived for many years. While in St. Paul, Lois worked for North American Viking Drill from 1963-1986. The couple moved back to Henderson in 1986. She is survived by her children, William (and special friend,Julie Zacharias) of Henderson, MN, Linda (Ron) Dorzinsky of Le Sueur, MN, Brian and Daniel Beseke of Henderson, MN; Grandchildren, Jacob and Erin Dorzinsky; Sister, Marvel Seaver of Le Sueur, MN; Sister-in-Law, Joann Patterson of Henderson, MN; Brothers-in-Law, Tom Beseke and William Byrne of Henderson, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, William in 1996; Brother, Wilbur and Sister, Dorene Gordon; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Alice Rau, Richard Gordon, Ivan Seaver, Edward and Donna Morrisette, Lloyd and Ruth Beseke, Sandy Byrne, Phillip Beseke and Raymond Patterson.
