Lois A. Lehman

ois A. Lehman, age 83 of Belle Plaine, died on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Edina, MN. Memorial Mass will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until Mass time on Wednesday. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine, MN. Fr. Brian Lynch will officiate the Mass and committal services. Lunch to follow in church social hall. Lois was born on June 5, 1933 in Belle Plaine, MN to Walter & Irene (Sieberlich) Bromaghim. She attended Catholic grade school in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. She received her nursing degree from St. Catherine's College in St. Paul, MN. She married William "Bill" Lehman on January 15, 1955 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, MN. She was a clinical nurse in Belle Plaine for a short time before raising her family. She later returned to clinical nursing after her kids were older. Lois was a catechism teacher at church and a member of the C.C.W. She enjoyed reading and her time with family, kids and grandkids. She is survived by her husband Bill. Children; Beth (Jerome) Flaherty of Belle Plaine, MN; Steve (Mary) Lehman of Belle Plaine, MN; Julie Lehman of Belle Plaine, MN; Jacki (Keith) Siemon of Belle Plaine; Matt Lehman (friend, Laureen Wermerskirchen) of Henderson; Will Lehman of Lancaster, S.C; Dan (Connie) Lehman of Belle Plaine, MN and Dennis (Chris) Lehman of Ramsey, MN. 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Bromaghim and sister, Carmen Meyer.
