Luann Meyer

LuAnn Meyer, age 63 of New Auburn passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Abbott- Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17 ^th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn. Visitation will be Monday, November 16 ^th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington with visitation continuing one hour prior to service time Tuesday at the church. Interment will follow in High Island Cemetery in New Auburn. Current Covid guidelines will be observed at both the funeral home and the church.

LuAnn was born on June 28, 1957 in Arlington to Marvin and Mabel (Schultz) Meyer. She was a 1975 graduate of Arlington-Green Isle High School. During her life she worked at Technical Services in Arlington, Young America Corporation, Glencoe and Lakeview Clinics and at multiple Assisted Living facilities. After suffering a stroke in December 2016, LuAnn eventually made her home at Shade Tree Assisted Living in Brownton.

In general, LuAnn loved having fun and she loved her family. She liked baking and making food. She loved facebook and the interactions with family and friends. LuAnn was a Viking and Nascar fan. She liked shaking dice, her dogs and enjoyed the annual family vacation. She did the MS Walkathon to benefit family and others and one way she showed  her patriotic allegiance was to serve as an election judge for many years.

LuAnn is survived by her fiancé Myron Kuehl; children Michelle Ferris, Chad (Angel) Meyer, Josh Meyer and Luke (Stephanie) Meyer; grandchildren Xander, Daniel, Hunter, Grace and Jameson; mother Mabel Meyer; Siblings Larry Meyer, Steve (MaryJo) Meyer and Kris (Jim) Farber; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

LuAnn is preceded in death by her father Marvin Meyer; grandson Corban Ferris; sister-in-law Pam Meyer; niece Kelly Paul and nephew Kyle Meyer.
