Lucille A. Jentz, age 98 of Le Sueur, died on Thursday morning, December 19, 2013 at the Le Sueur Assisted Living Center in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m, St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, Minnesota. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the Mass. Lucille was born on April 20, 1915 to Gust & Anna (Sweda) Meger in Le Center, MN. She married Bernard Jentz on January 27, 1934 in Le Sueur, MN. The couple farmed in Tyrone Township for many years. Lucille also worked seasonally for Green Giant in Le Sueur and at the Dairy Queen. She loved traveling and visited many countries. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting the casino and old-time music. She had been the drummer for Bernie's Combo, her husband's music group. She is survived by her son, Jack (Sharon) Jentz of St. Francis, MN; daughters, Colleen Boys of Shakopee, MN and Kathleen (Dan) Hedberg of Balsam Grove, NC; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1985; infant son; 7 sisters; 4 brothers; granddaughter and son-in-law, Richard Boys.
