Luverne Conroy

Luverne "Nunny" Conroy age 89 of LeSueur, died on Thursday evening, June 20, at the St. Therese at St. Odilia Hospice Home in Shoreview, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation and a C.C.W. Rosary will be held at the church on Friday prior to the funeral service, rosary at 9:45 a.m. and visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur, MN She was born on November 2, 1923 to Matt & Sophia (Karis) Hahn in Belle Plaine, MN. She attended Belle Plaine schools. After high school she attended a secretarial school in the Twin Cities and worked a short time in Minneapolis and as a secretary at Green Giant. Nunny married Ray Conroy on Oct. 22, 1949 at St. Peter & Paul's Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. The couple lived in Le Sueur for many years where Nunny was a mother and homemaker. She is survived by her twin sons: Bill (Kim Torseth) Conroy of Falcon Hts, MN and Jerry (Sharon Hughes) Conroy of Golden Valley, MN Grandchildren: Joe and Erin Conroy Dear friends & former neighbors: Earl & Tami Skelly She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, (2003); two brothers, Joe and Jerome "Omy" Hahn and sister, Hertz Vancore.
