Madonna Dorweiler, age 96 of Arlington, died on Sunday morning, at Good Samaritan Center in Arlington, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 24, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington starting with a 4:30 p.m. Vigil Service and ending at 6:45 p.m. with a C.C.W. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Arlington, MN . Fr. Aaron Johanneck will officiate the services. Lunch to follow burial at church. Madonna was born on May 4, 1921 to William & Margaret (Kauffmann) Weckop near Arlington, MN. She grew up near Arlington and attended Arlington rural schools. She married Clarence Scully on November 16, 1943 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. She worked for Noack Egg Processing, (candling eggs), and later for Big Stone Canning in Arlington. Following Clarence's death in 1983 she married Wilbur Dorweiler on February 16, 1985 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Arlington, MN. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, embroidering, fishing, traveling, shopping and time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wilbur Dorweiler; daughter, Margaret Scully of Arlington, MN and sister, Mary Langer of Hager City, WI. Brothers-in-Law, Edmond (Kathy) Dorweiler, Ralph Dorweiler, Robert (Betty) Dorweiler; sisters-in-law; Jane Bastel, Allie (Leon) Hendricks and Joann Dorweiler. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence and sisters and their spouses; Juliana (Robert) Janssen, Rosella (Andrew) Logelin and Lucille (Henry) Smykalski; brothers-in-law; Wilford Langer, Donald Dorweiler, Bernie Dorweiler, Rudolph Dorweiler and Clarence Dorweiler and sister-in-Law; Lois (Edward) Johnson.
