Mae Ploog

Mae Ploog, age 91 of Henderson, passed away on March 17, 2016 at the Glencoe Regional Health Care Center in Glencoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m. on Tuesday, March 22 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Henderson. Fr. Sam Perez will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church on Tuesday morning. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Mae was born in Henderson on May 14, 1924 to Adolph & Florence (Briggle) Boelke. On December 23, 1941 she married Richard Ploog in Monterey, California. They farmed in Le Sueur, St. Peter, St. Francis and Anoka before settling in Henderson in 1986. She was a homemaker and worked & retired from Cornelius Company in Anoka. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion in Henderson. She loved playing cards, gardening, baking and canning. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers, Ervin & Allen Boelke. Mae is survived by her children, Mary (Richard) Lang, Pat (Tom) Schmitt, Richard Ploog, Bill (Candee) Ploog, Jim (Sue) Ploog, Dennis (Sue) Ploog, Bonnie Nickel, Ron (Debbie) Ploog, Les (Patty) Ploog, 18 Grandchildren, Many Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren.
