Margaret Agnes Wacker, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday beginning with a C.C.W. Rosary at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur. Margaret was born on June 28, 1924 in Lexington Township. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Kudlick) Picka. Margaret was united in marriage to Clayton Wacker on October 30, 1946. They farmed in Lexington Township, LeSueur County where they raised their family. Margaret loved to garden, cook, sew, and play cards with family and friends. She had a special touch for her flowers, especially the orchids that she loved and nurtured. She loved to entertain her friends and especially her family. She always had a warm welcome and smile on her face for all who came to visit. Margaret worked for Green Giant Company in Quality Assurance, at the Little Dandy Supper Club and for Lonty's Cafe. She is survived by her children, Harold (Ginny) Wacker, Joan Wacker, Greg (Nancy) Wacker, Jan (Dale) Winters, Marcy (Rob) Pengilly and Chris (Mona) Wacker. She has 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Picka; sister, Bessy Reak; sister-in-law, Blanche Picka; sister-in-law, LaVerna Picka; brother-in-law, Leonard Plonsky and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Jack Germscheid. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; sister, Grace; brothers, Frank, George and Ed Picka and two grandchildren, Scott Pengilly and Ben Holicky.
