Margery A. Thetford, (Katzenmeyer)

Margery A. (Katzenmeyer) Thetford, age 74 of the Gilbert, AZ formerly of Le Sueur, MN, died on Monday, Sept. 16, in Gilbert, AZ. Funeral services will be on Friday, Sept. 20, 11:00 a.m, St. Anne's Church, Le Sueur, MN. Visitation one hour prior to services at the church on Friday morning. Interment to follow in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Margery was born on September 30, 1938 to Wilbur and Mary (Fellrath) Katzenmeyer in Le Sueur, MN. She graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1956. She worked in the Twin Cities for a short time after high school with Industrial Supply and Pepsi Cola. She then lived in and raised a family in Michigan for over 20 years where she worked as a bookkeeper with the Salvation Army. She returned to Minnesota for a few years before finally settling in Gilbert, Arizona in 1999. Margery retired from Wal Mart in 2006. She happily spent her retirement in the warm weather taking every opportunity to talk to and spend time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Thetford of Gilbert, AZ Siblings;Mark (Shirley) Katzenmeyer of Le Sueur, MN Marlene (Russ) Hoehn of St. Peter, MN Nieces; Karen (Jeff Warmka) Katzenmeyer of Eagle Lake, MN; Amy Katzenmeyer of Seattle, WA; Alisa (Brad) Opsahl of Mankato, MN; Lindsey (Eric) Jerke of Bloomington, MN; Meghan Hoehn of Bloomington, MN; Grand-nephews; Logan & Carter Opsahl She is preceded in death by her parents.
