Maria Macias Torres

Maria Macias Torres, age 69 of Arlington passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17th from St. Pius X Catholic Church in Glencoe with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to mass time at the church. Maria was born on September 12, 1948 in San Miguel del Banco, Coahuila Mexico to Ascencion Macias Paez and Julia Gonzalez Martinez. She came to the United States and was best known by most for working at Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord. She was a God fearing woman. She always put others before herself. She was a compassionate lady and loved to care for others. Maria is survived by her children; Agustina Torres, Hector Torres, Maria De Los Angeles Torres and Valerie Villarreal, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 7 brothers and sisters. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eliberto Torres Leyva, son Juan Carlos Hernandez, granddaughter Zully Yazaret Garcia on January 25, 2005 and one sister.
