Marilyn J. Bigaouette, age 90 of rural Belle Plaine passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her residence. A private Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11 th at St. John’s Assumption Catholic Church in Faxon Township, Sibley County. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Marilyn June Krueger was born on June 8, 1930 in Blakeley Township, Scott County to Jack and Adela (Hespenheide) Krueger. Marilyn married Leo Bigaouette on September 11, 1948 at Assumption Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the farming. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She and Leo both enjoyed Polka dancing. Marilyn always loved visits from her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her children; Sheryl (Glenn) Sellnow, Mary (Steve) Lehman, Bonnie (Gary) Krant and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Bigaouette all of Belle Plaine, grandchildren; Chrissy (Brian) Grant, Michael (Kelsey) Bigaouette, Becky (Nick) Riesgraf, Vanessa (Jordan) Lemmerman, Nathan (Lindsey) Bigaouette, Bill (Carrie) Sellnow, Shannon Sellnow, Josh Lehman (special friend Heather Haefner), Andy (Laura) Lehman, Jenna (Scott) Ahlbrecht, Ashley (Carlos) Franco, 14 great grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Leo, son Mike, granddaughter Melissa Bigaouette siblings; John Krueger and Sharon Laabs.
