Marjorie F. Henrich, age 103, of Henderson, Minnesota died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Comfort First Assisted Living in LeSueur. She was born on January 22, 1913 in Jessenland Township, Sibley County to Andrew and Annie (Doheny) Berger. Marge attended Jessenland Township School and later married Marcellus H. Henrich on December 27, 1934 at St. Thomas Church at Jessenland. They lived and farmed in Jessenland Township until moving to Henderson in 1943. Marjorie enjoyed being a homemaker and making clothes for her family as well as doing alterations for family, relatives and friends. Flower and vegetable gardening were important to her and her family. Marge also drove her friends to many events in the Henderson area, giving up her driver's license at age 99. She was an avid reader throughout her long life, She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Pederson and Yvonne Pogatchnik of Rosemount, Denise (Roland) Pogatchnik of W. St. Paul, Janice Schardin of Hudson, WI, Nancy (Thomas) Vogt of Victoria and Michelle (James Leier) Henrich of Firecrest, WA as well as 17 Grandchildren, 45 Great-grandchildren and 14 Great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcellus in 1998, 1 grandson, 1 great-grandson, 3 sons-in-law, brother and 2 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Henderson. Fr. Sam Perez will celebrate the Mass. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson.
