Marjorie Mollenhauer

Marjorie M. Mollenhauer, age 85, of LeSueur died on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Minnesota Valley Health Care Center. She was born on April 16, 1930 to Charles and Mabel (Parks) Mutch in rural St. Peter. She attended District 50 country school and graduated from St. Peter High School in 1947. Marge worked for the Johnson Overall Factory and Wholesale House for three years. She was united in marriage on August 14, 1950 to Allen Mollenhauer at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. After her children were born she returned to the Johnson Overall Factory in 1956, then to the Green Giant Field Office. In 1961 she began working in the office of the LeSueur Public School until 1991 when she retired. She is survived by her husband, Allen; Son, James of LeSueur and daughter, (Alainna) Jane (Allan) Holmes of Sioux Falls, SD, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Shirley Bradshaw of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by parents, sisters; Lora Homer and Loretta Mithuen and 3 brothers, Robert, Walter and Gordon Mutch. Memorial services will be at Noon on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Interment, at a later date, will be in the Mound Cemetery, LeSueur. Visitation is 3 hours prior to the services at the church Thursday. Kolden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
