Marjorie M. Ott

Marjorie M. Ott, age 91 of Arlington, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Arlington. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, with Fr. Sam Perez officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to Mass at the church on Monday. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Arlington. Marjorie was born on May 6, 1926 to William and Hulda (Kaegbein) Hoffmann in New Ulm, MN. She married Robert J. Ott on October 25, 1947 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. Marjorie worked as a long distance telephone operator with Northwestern Bell in New Ulm for 8 ½ years and moved to Arlington in 1963. She worked for Tonka Toys in Mound for ten years as well as working at Technical Services for Electronics in Arlington for another ten years. Marjorie liked to play cards including Sheep Head, 500, the card game "Golf"and Solitaire on her hand held computer. She also enjoyed assembling jig saw puzzles, playing dominos and embroidering dish towels. Her greatest joy was for her family and the visits from grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1981, son Randy in 1980, grandson Blake Schwarz, 3 sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children; Gary (Patricia) Ott of Glencoe, Carol (Chuck) Bokinskie of Alexandria, Tom (Kathy) Ott of Young America, Brenda (Tim) Bruch of Arlington, Lori (Richard) Reznechek of Hutchinson and Lynn (Steve) Schwarz of LeSueur, grandchildren; Theresa (Scott) Hoff, JoLene Ott, Christen (Josh) Hull, Corey (Stacie) Bokinskie, Christopher (Namie) Ott, Ashley Ott, Alex Ott, Michael (Tammy) Ott, Joshua Bruch, Nicole (Spencer) Haggenmiller, Justin Schuette (sp. friend Jenny Hausladen and her children Megan, Zachary and Carter), Morgan Schwarz (sp. friend Ethan Henke) and Gavin Schwarz, great grandchildren; Amber, Hunter, Casey, Cole, Riley, Emma, Noah, Dakotah, Mason, Elion, Elle, Lexi, Kaylee, Grace, Wesley, Anja, Lincoln, Benjamin, Aubrey and Jacey, great great granddaughter; Isabella.
