Marlene Arndt

Marlene L. Arndt, age 89 of Le Sueur, passed away on November 5, 2024 at the Ridgeview Hospital in Le Sueur. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Le Sueur Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Lunch to follow in the church social hall.

Marlene was born on April 9, 1935 in Le Sueur to Clarence and Lucile (Holste) Grams. She attended Le Sueur schools and graduated from Le Sueur Henderson High School. She married Earl D. Arndt on September 23, 1963 at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. Marlene farmed with her parents and husband in Ottawa Township

She was a 4-H leader for 10 years, director of Schlegel Settlement Cemetery Association, and volunteered her time working as a Sunday school teacher and Church historian for 10 years. Marlene was also a member of Ruth Circle.

Marlene is survived by many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence in 1996, and Lucile in 2006; and husband, Earl in 1987.
