 
            Mary A. Busch, age 75, passed away peacefully February 21st, 2013 surrounded by loving family. Mary battled cancer with bravery yet resolve until the Lord took her home. She is now safely in the arms of Jesus. Mary was born at home to Devoda (Melchior) and Edmund Bristol on June 17th, 1937 in Hancock Township, MN. She was a lifetime resident of Belle Plaine, MN. She was married in 1955 and raised seven children. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid gardener. She loved growing flowers and vegetables, canning and making jam. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and bird watching. She also loved to sew and bake for family and friends. Later in life, while a resident of Cardinal Ridge apartments, she was passionate about helping others dealing with their own health issues. She was preceded in death by her parents; a baby brother; brother, Edward; sister, Geraldine; sister, Barbara. Mary is survived by and will be deeply missed by children: son, Rick (Donna); daughter, Chaune Munson (John); son, Sheldon (Annette); son, Mark (Susan); son, Charlie (Amy); son Clay (Jodi); daughter, Charlotte Gaughran (Scott). Siblings: sister, Donna Meyer (Richard); brother, Donald. Extended family: Fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:30pm at Kolden Funeral Home, 219 N Willow Street, Belle Plaine, MN 56011. Private Christian memorial service and internment following. …God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be Thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. A big part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
