Mary Lucille Feeney

Mary Lucille Feeney, age 85 of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur on Tuesday, starting with a 5:00 p.m. C.C.W. Rosary and concluding at 8:00 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service, visitation will also continue on Wed. morning at Kolden Funeral Home from 8:00 to 10:45 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Mary Lucille was born on March 27, 1927 to John and Catherine (Burns) Feeney on their farm in rural Le Sueur. She graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1945. Right after high school she went to work for Green Giant where she worked most of her life. She was involved with multiple Bridge Clubs and many volunteer activities throughout the community. One of her favorite was helping students at St. Anne's school with their reading program. She also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and Twins games. Mary Lucille is survived by her brother, Jack Feeney of Le Sueur; sister-in-law, Maribeth Feeney of Le Sueur; niece, Barb (Mark) Carlson of Le Sueur; nephew, Mike (Erin) Feeney of Le Sueur; great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Eric) Ross, Jesse (Wren) Sprague, Jordan Carlson, Dylan, Logan and Griffin Feeney and 1 great-great nephew, Owen Ross. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jim Feeney.
