Matthew Allen Svihel

Matthew Allen Svihel, age 32 of Le Sueur died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 after a very brief illness at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home two hours prior to the services on Friday. Interment will be at a later time. Matthew was born on August 3, 1982 to Allen Svihel & Sue Valenzuela in St. Peter, Minnesota. He grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur Public Schools. He worked for Cambria in Le Sueur before he began his work as the overnight manager at the Holiday Store in Le Sueur, MN. Matt enjoyed Wild Hockey, all aspects of music, and Android development. He is survived by his Parents, Allen (Louise) Svihel of Florida, Sue (John) Kaveney of Nicollet, MN; Siblings, Alissa Svihel of Gibbon, MN, Denee & Karissa Kaveney of Nicollet, MN; Grandmother, Corrine Valenzuela of Le Sueur, MN; Nephew and Nieces, Jace, Brooke, Molly and Gemma of Gibbon, MN. He is also survived by his adored chinchilla, Chino, and many uncles, aunts & cousins, and many other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Leonard & Evelyn Svihel and Manuel Valenzuela and Great-Grandmother, Veleida Schmidt.
