Michael K. Bisch

Michael K. Bisch, age 85 of Le Sueur, died on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be on Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur starting at 4:00 p.m. and concluding with an 8:00 p.m. K.C. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until about 10:45 a.m. Interment with Military Honors by the Le Sueur Honor Guard will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Mike was born on August 20, 1925 to Clem and Mary Ann (Tarpy) Bisch in Mankato, MN. He grew up in the Madison Lake area and attended Cleveland Schools. He and his family then moved to the Rush River area of Sibley County when he was about 15. Mike served in the U.S. Army at the end of World War II. He married Regina Stangl at St. Joseph's Church in Pierz, MN on June 30, 1953. He worked at the Le Sueur Foundry, (Le Sueur Inc.) from 1950 to 1990 as a supervisor. He was a member of the St. Anne's Knights of Columbus & Post 55 American Legion. Mike especially enjoyed and loved his family, fishing, golf and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Regina; Children,Mary Helen (Alan) Deutsch of Roseville, MN, Sharon (Ken) Rosburg of Crosby, MN, Kevin (Cathy) Bisch of Aitkin, MN, Steven (Paula) Bisch of Northfield, MN, Rose Ann Bisch of Spring Lake Park, MN; Grandchildren,Tim & Craig (Sharon) Deutsch, Aaron, Alex, Sophia, Louie Bisch & Katie Bisch; 4 Step-grandchildren and families; Sisters,Ramona Hess of St. Paul, Virginia (Howard) Seitzer of Oakdale, MN, Dorothy Brandt of Prior Lake, MN; Sister-in-law,Betty Bisch of Madison Lake, MN; Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Rheaume, Beulah Osborne and Rose Mae Wolfe; and Brother, Matthew Bisch.
