Michael R. Kahlow

Michael Raymond Kahlow, age 50, of North Mankato and formerly of Henderson, Minnesota died on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. He was born on February 14, 1963 at LeSueur, Minnesota to Raymond and Joan (Huberty) Kahlow. Michael graduated from Henderson High School and entered the Army Reserves. He has worked for nearly 30 years at Precision Press in Mankato. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping in his early years. He is survived by his mother, Joan Kahlow and her special friend, Charles Schneider of Henderson. Sisters, Kristine Halquist of Belle Plaine and Teresa Kahlow of Hamburg, Minnesota. Special friend, Tim Delaney of N. Mankato. Nieces and nephews, Lynn (Shane) Abernathy, Ashley Halquist, Michael Halquist and MacKenzie Hoff. Great Nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Trevor and Madison Abernathy. Uncle, Mark Huberty and Aunt, Virginia (Clint) Schwartz. He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Gladys Huberty and brother-in-law, Dan Halquist. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Henderson with interment, at a later date, in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson and one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
