Moriah Lynn Zwart

Moriah Lynn Zwart, age 20 of Le Sueur, died tragically May 1, 2015 in a drowning accident and was found May 6, 2015. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 at Grace Baptist Church (600 Lind St., Mankato). Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 11 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Interment will be in the old St. Anne's Cemetery in Le Sueur. Moriah was born on April 6, 1995 to Anthony and Alison (Hamann) Zwart in Aurora, IL. She graduated from Grace Christian School in 2013, where she was active in volleyball and soccer. She was currently studying Culinary at South Central College and worked at Le Sueur Incorporated as a plastics operator. Her dream was to one day start her own bakery. She loved cooking, nature, elephants, story writing and drawing. She was a sweet peacemaker with a vibrant, contagious personality, which is how she touched so many hearts and lives. We have comfort in knowing that we will one day be reunited with Moriah in Heaven. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Alison; siblings, Peter (Cindy) Zwart of Albert Lea, Nayomi Zwart of Le Sueur, Nadine (Cody) Wikstrom of Fargo, ND, Monica Zwart of Le Sueur and Audrey Zwart of Le Sueur; grandmothers, Bonnie (Dave) Decker of Sheridan, IL and Phyllis Webber of Muskegon, MI; special friend, Jason Randolph of Le Sueur; nephews, Gabe and Ben Zwart; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Moriah is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Richard Zwart and Thomas Hamann; uncle, Rick Zwart; aunt, Kristine Hamblen; cousins, Britiny Zwart and Daniel Mielczarek.
