Nadine E. Gohlke

Nadine Gohlke, age 77 of Belle Plaine, died on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee. Funeral services will be at 11a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, Belle Plaine. Rev. Sarah Timian will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday morning at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Nadine Esther Bullert was born on September 25, 1940 in Arlington to Herbert and Esther (Bluemke) Bullert. She was baptized on October 13, 1940 and confirmed on April 11, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle Township. Nadine graduated from Green Isle High School in 1958 and married Alvin Gohlke on June 2, 1959 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. They lived and farmed Alvin's family farm in Hancock Township, and she worked several small off the farm jobs. She enjoyed being a homemaker, sewing, crocheting, playing cards and visiting friends and relations. Nadine is preceded in death by her parents and husband Alvin in 2015. She is survived by her children, Natalie (Jeff) Bowman of Albert Lea, & Owen (Tracy) Gohlke of Lakeville, MN. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren; Rebecca & Jacqueline Spalding and Evan & Brodie Gohlke; 2 Step-grandchildren, Jenna & Jared Bowman. Sister, Gloria Robinson of Mankato, Brother in law Chester Gohlke of Belle Plaine, many nieces & nephews.
