Nancy Ann Steffen

Nancy Ann Steffen, age 58 of Chaska, died peacefully in her sleep, on February 4, 2013 in St Louis Park, MN. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to service at church. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Nancy was born on July 7, 1954 to William and Clarice (Colbenson) Steffen in Hendricks, MN. The following year the family moved to Belle Plaine. Nancy attended Belle Plaine Schools and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. She graduated from Winona State University and worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She enjoyed spending time with family was very family oriented. She loved gardening, taking walks and traveling to warm places to see the ocean and spend time on the beaches. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Clarice. She is survived by her children Stephanie, Ben and Amanda of Chaska; Brother, Jim Steffen of Belle Plaine; Sister, Jane (Tim) Fitzpatrick of Gainesville, FL; Nephews, Greg and Mark.
