Neoma L. Kienitz

Neoma L. Kienitz, age 90 of Arlington passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28th at the Kolden Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington with Rev. James Carlson officiating. Visitation will be one-half hour prior to service time. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, New Auburn Township. Neoma was born on October 7, 1923 in New Auburn Township, Sibley County, Minnesota to Albert and Lillian (Wacker) Kienitz. She was a graduate of Arlington High School with the Class of 1941. Neoma was honored by being selected as salutatorian of her class. Neoma is survived by one sister, Ramona (Lowell) Palmquist of Colorado and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and five sisters.
