Norbert F. Mueller, age 90 formerly of Belle Plaine and Minneapolis died at McAllen, Texas on Thursday, May 1. He was born on October 11, 1923 in Blakeley Township, Scott County to Emil and Mary (Otto) Mueller. He farmed the family farm in Blakeley Township and later entered the U. S. Marines during World War II. He worked for many years in Minneapolis for Minneapolis-Moline assembling tractors. He lived in Minneapolis and wintered at Mission, Texas for many years. He is survived by his brother, Marvin Mueller of Oklahoma City; Sisters, Marie Sunderman of LeSueur, Ethel (Ben) Callanan of Mission, TX and Rosie (special friend, Larry Faber) Hayden of Willmar. Step sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Virginia Brandt and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, George Brandt; siblings, Harry Mueller, Berniece (Glen) Zamzow, Adela (Vic) Dammann, Loretta (Wally) Hauer; brothers-in-law, Eugene Sunderman and Bill Hayden; step-sisters, Helen (Bob) Grassinger and step-brothers, Pete (Maureen) Brandt and Marvin Brandt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in LeSueur, Minnesota. Interment with military honors by the Belle Plaine Honor Guard, will be at 12:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur is in charge of arrangements.
