Norma L. Frank

Norma Loretta Frank, (Morland), age 89 of Le Sueur, died peacefully from a stroke, November 25, 2013 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, (217 N. 3rd St.), in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home, (529 Turril St.), in Le Sueur on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until about 10:45 a.m. Family will process to church for the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Burial will be at a later time. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the Mass. Norma was born on December 28, 1923 to Nels & Lena Morland in Clarkfield, MN. Norma grew up in Clarkfield where she and her two sisters sang and yodeled at county fairs and were known as the "Poor Andrew Sisters". She graduated from St. Cloud State "Teaching College" and taught elementary school in Big Lake, MN. She married Bruce Frank in Fairfax, MN on June 15, 1947. She and her husband lived and raised their family in Le Sueur. She was chief cheerleader for her husband and children in all aspects and most especially at the football field. She loved her family, a party, COOKIES, butter (100% Norwegian), and life. Her last years at Sunrise Plaza were filled with friends and joy. She is survived by her children, Gary (Claudia) Frank of Greenfield, OH, Greg (Jill) Frank of Le Sueur, Cindy Frank of Council Bluffs, IA, Mick (Chris) Frank of Minneapolis, MN, Tom (Tonya) Frank of CO and Beth (Kent) Frank of Council Bluffs, IA; 9 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; In-Laws, Gene & Betty Frank, and Doris & Margaret Morland. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Bruce of 57 years; Parents; 5 Siblings and 3 of their spouses.
