Norman E Demaris

Norman E. DeMaris, age 75 of LeSueur, Minnesota died on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on December 23, 1941 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to Floyd and Mildred (Parks) DeMaris. He lived in various places in Minnesota and Iowa, settling in LeSueur, Minnesota in 1962. He married Donna Borchardt on November 24, 1963 in Henderson. He worked for many years at the LeSueur Creamery and for the LeSueur Foundry. Norm enjoyed fishing, hunting and time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife, Donna Children, Aaron DeMaris of Henderson, Joel (Debbie) DeMaris of Shakopee and Kristin ((Todd) Nepper of LeSueur, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 1 brother, Marvin DeMaris of Mason City, Iowa and 4 sisters, Jeanette Hopes of LeSueur, Betty Brooks of Garland, TX, Rosemary Dickinson of Mason City, Iowa and Eileen Hornaman of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Julius and Arvid "Bud" DeMaris and a sister, Beulah Andersen. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Interment, at a later date, will be in the Brown Cemetery in Henderson.
