Orleitha "Orle" Ann Johnson

Orleitha “Orle” Johnson, age 96, formerly of Montrose, MN passed away on October 21, 2022 at Oak Terrace in Le Sueur, MN with some loving family members by her side. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.

Orle was born on May 19, 1926 to Ladislav and Helen (Konsel) Mejstrik. She was born and raised in Howells, Nebraska where she also graduated high school. Orle married Lloyd “Rocky” Johnson on January 17, 1962 at Cure D’Ars Catholic Church in Denver, Colorado. Together with three of their four children they moved to Montrose, Minnesota where the three children grew up. During this time, Orle worked at Red’s Café as a waitress, and also cleaned houses in her spare time. She enjoyed socializing, dancing and had a strong love for her Czech heritage. And she especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Orle is survived by her husband, Lloyd. Children; Claudia Brunner of Lafayette, Colorado, Shelley Johnson (Bergman) of Minnetonka, MN and Terry (Tami) Johnson of Buffalo, Minnesota, Sister; Anita Becky of Denver, Colorado and eight grandchildren & seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son; David Johnson, Brothers; Robert and Walter Mejstrik and Granddaughter Ashley Johnson.
