Orville William Kalhe

Orville W. Kahle, 89 of Belle Plaine passed away on April 14, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Orville was born on September 5, 1923 to William and Ida (Jaunt) Kahle in Blakeley Township, Scott County Minnesota. He attended country schools. He married Mabel Hessing on June 14, 1944 in Belle Plaine. He was a farmer on the family farm all of his life. Orville enjoyed playing cards and dancing. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, and always willing to help a neighbor. He was a member of the Belle Plaine Sportsman's Club and loved the outdoors. He is preceded by his wife, Mabel; son, Larry; parents, William and Ida; brothers, Raymond and Willmer Kahle; sister, Evelyn Schultz and brother-in-law Earl Hessing. He is survived by his daughter: Debbie (John) Schaefer of Belle Plaine; Son: Rodney Kahle of Belle Plaine; Daughter in law: Suzanne Kahle-Pearson of Prior Lake; Grandchildren: Sheral (Christopher) DeVaughn, Jodi (Jonathan) Fahey, Angela (Edward) Hernandez, Holly (Randy) Whitt, Scott Kahle, Tory (Kym) Kahle, Edward (Rachel) Willson, Mindy (Peter) Martinez, Laura Schaefer and Leah Schaefer; 22 Great Grandchildren Sisters-in-law: Shirley Brown of Portaland, OR, LaVonne Rusch of Colorado Springs, CO, Joyce Trost of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Fern O'Shea of CA, and Jean Kahle of Springfield, MO.
