Patricia "Pat" Ann Schwirtz

Patricia (Pat) Ann Schwirtz of Arlington, MN passed away on Saturday, November 4th at the age of 82 years. She was born on August 10, 1941, in Stephen, MN and grew up Arlington, MN.

She graduated from Arlington, MN in 1959 and worked as an Executive Secretary for many years and well as a Para in the Arlington school district.  She was actively involved in Women’s VFW Auxiliary & St Mary’s Council of Catholic Women

She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary Kuznia; sister, Eva Quirk

Stepchildren:  Steve Schwirtz & Pam (Schwirtz) Lohse

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Elroy (Blackie) Schwirtz.

24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren & 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Pat loved spending time with her family and many friends.  She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening and decorating her home.  She was very generous with her time and talents, always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life to the fullest!

The family would like to thank the staff at Auburn Meadows in Waconia for the care and compassion they showered on our loved one in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 9-10:30am at St Mary’s Catholic Church social hall in Arlington, MN.  There will be mass at 11am at St. Mary’s with fellowship and lunch immediately following.
