Patrick "Pat" Mcgraw

Patrick "Pat" McGraw, age 58, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at his home in Henderson. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Pat was born on July 15, 1955 to John and Alvera (Harnisch) McGraw in St. Peter. He attended St. Anne's School in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School and attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth and the Twin Cities. He married Denise Junker on June 20, 1992 at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. Pat was well-known in the community for operating McGraw Monument Works in LeSueur, and because he could start up conversation with anyone who crossed his path. He loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. Pat's love for Jesus and serving others was evident. He especially enjoyed teaching 2nd & 3rd grade Sunday School. His never ending story-telling, easy smile and gentle, loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Denise, Children, Lauren & Riley, Siblings, Ann (Chuck) Fuller of Litchfield, MN Elizabeth (Tom) Hynes-McGraw of St. Peter, MN, Margaret (Bill) Walter of Sheboygan, WI, Terese McGraw of St. Peter, MN Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
