Paul Eugene Frost

Paul E Frost, 61, lifelong resident of Le Sueur, MN died Wednesday, March 2 after living his last two and one half years with a Stage 4 Renal cancer diagnosis. Visitation will be on Wed. March 9 from 4-7 pm at Kolden Funeral Home In Le Sueur. Funeral at 10:30 Thursday March 10 at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur with visitation one hour prior. Paul Eugene was born Sept 1, 1954 to Norman and Theda (Largent) Frost in St Peter. He joined brother Kenneth and sisters Gloria and Dorothy at the family home on Fifth Street. Paul graduated from Le Sueur high school in 1972 and attended college at Bemidji and Mankato State. He worked for Green Giant Ag Research and Promotion services in Le Sueur before transferring to Green Giant\Silgan Container Division in Savage where he finished his career. He married the love of his life Darla Hoberg on October 3, 1987. Their son Evan completed the family on August 24, 1989. Paul was always happiest among friends and family with a beer in his hand. Paul played softball, golfed, and enjoyed attending sporting events. He looked forward to planning camping trips and working on household projects. A lifelong hockey fan, he followed the Minnesota North Stars, Saint Paul Fighting Saints, Wild, and for the last 9 years held season tickets for Minnesota State Maverick Mens Hockey. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Theda Frost and father-in-law Donald Hoberg. Left to carry on his legacy are his wife, Darla, son Evan, brother Ken, sisters Gloria (Jim) Raymond and Dorothy (Geoff) Nelson, mother-in-law Jeanette Hoberg, sisters and brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to Compassus Hospice of Lakeville for their kindness and loving care in assisting Paul with his wish to live out his life at home with Darla and Evan.
