Paula P. Scheffler

Paula P. Scheffler, age 60, formerly of Henderson, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 27, 2017 after battling a sudden illness at Abbott Memorial Hospital. Wife, mother, daughter, and sister; Paula will forever be remembered by her loving and devoted husband just shy of 22 years, George; her sons, Dan and Stephen(Holly) Whittier; father, Angiolino Consolati; sister, Sally Consolati; 11 brothers and sisters-in-law and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Consolati and her Father and Mother-in law, Leo and Mary Scheffler. Paula was born September 3, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN to Angiolino and Patricia Consolati. While growing up in Bloomington, MN with her sister and parents, Paula lived a full life of fun and travel. She graduated from Bloomington Kennedy. She went on to pursue her career as an interior designer. Paula had such a passion for sewing patterns and fabric. She had a keen eye for things, which made her a successful designer. Paula met George and married him July 8, 1995 and moved to Henderson, MN where she had resided for the last 21 years. While in Henderson she obtained her teaching license from MSU-Mankato in 2002 and became a dedicated substitute teacher for Le Sueur and the surrounding areas where she taught for years and enjoyed spending her days with her students. Paula was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was passionate about life and loved to make others happy. She enjoyed going to the library and reading books, anything that had to do with her dog, Lexie, traveling with her favorite travel companion Sally, car rides and arboretum strolling with George, hanging out with her sons, entertaining friends, and telling story upon story to anyone who would listen. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10am-12pm at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, MN with a short memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Paula so enjoyed gatherings of family and friends, in her honor following the service, we will have a Celebration of her Life at the Roadhaus in Henderson, MN.
