Pauline Ann (Pike) Denzer, of Le Sueur, MN. our Mother, Grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025 at River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Kolden Funeral Home from 4-7 P.M., with a St. Anne’s C.C.W. Rosary starting at 3:45. Visitation will continue on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9-10 A.M. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN.

Pauline was born on January 31, 1925 to Lenard Whitman Pike and Anna Laura (Willette) Pike in Montevideo, MN.  She attended Montevideo parochial and public schools, graduating High School in 1942.  After high school she attended the Minnesota School of Business and also trained as a computer keypunch machine operator.

Pauline moved to Le Sueur on January 15, 1944.  She met Ernest (Ernie) J. Denzer in Le Sueur and on June 22, 1946 they were joined in matrimony at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Montevideo, MN.

While in High School, Pauline was a member of the Montevideo Recreation Association (1939-1942).  In Le Sueur, she was a charter member of the Minnesota Association of Local Assessors (1951-1961), and was elected City of Le Sueur Accessor five times in those years.  Pauline was a Census Taker for Le Sueur in 1951.  She was a member of the Le Sueur St Anne’s School Board, serving as the Board Secretary and co-Treasurer.  For two and half years she was on the Minnesota Private Industry Council for Region 9.  Additionally, she also was a member of the St Anne’s Council of Catholic Women, and Secretary of the Minnesota Valley Healthcare Center (Le Sueur Hospital) Axillary.

Pauline worked for Green Giant Company from 1944 until May of 1986 both at the Le Sueur Plant, Company Headquarters and in Minneapolis after Green Giant was purchased by Pillsbury Company.  She had positions in payroll, accounting and transportation.  While employed at Green Giant, Pauline was also the clerk at the Le Sueur Sales Barn and bookkeeper for Budke’s Bar in Le Sueur.

After retirement Pauline was active in Meals on Wheels and The Friends of the Le Sueur Library.  She enjoyed cross-word puzzles, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.  Pauline helped organize an ongoing reunion of her first cousins and their decedents on her mother’s side of the family, the Annual Willette Reunion, now in its 44th year.

Pauline is survived by her son, Ernest James Denzer Jr. (Christine), Grand-children Jenifer Denzer (Pat Ruby), Ernest J Denzer III (Sarah), and Jodi Denzer-David (Darrell David).  Step Grandchildren Steven Kozlicki (Carloyn), Robin Kozlicki (Daphne), eleven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her husband’s niece Mary (Denzer) Cousins and the mother of her three grandchildren, Linda Rydin (Al).

Pauline was proceeded in death by her parents, husband (Ernest Sr), beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends Mary Morgan, Rosemary Lynch, Debra Pollack, Dorthy Deustch, Dorothy Bones and Meg Skelly.

Special thank you to the staff at Oak Terrance in Le Sueur, River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter, and the Mayo Clinic in St. Peter, MN and Dr. Arthur Schueler for their special care and love while caring for Pauline.
