Pearl H. Wilkinson

Pearl Wilkinson, age 88 of the Le Sueur and St. Peter area died on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Comfort First Center in Le Sueur. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 24, 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the services on Monday morning. Interment follow lunch at Greenhill Cemetery in St. Peter, MN. Rev. Carl Bruihler will officiate the services. Pearl was born on September 25, 1926 to Frank and Eino (Havenen) Elo in Breda, MN; (Fairbanks Township, St. Louis County). She was baptized Sept. 4, 1927 in Duluth, MN and confirmed March 23, 1961 in St. Peter, MN. She grew up in the Ault Township, St. Louis County and attended Brimson schools. She left for Duluth at a young age to do housekeeping and also waitressed. As a young adult she moved to the Twin Cities and worked where she met Wesley Wilkinson at a dance. The couple married on January 20, 1961 in Minneapolis, MN. Together they worked on a farm north of St. Peter, Minnesota. She also did seasonal work at Green Giant in Le Sueur, MN. Pearl is survived by a nephew, William Laine and many other distant relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley in 1995 and sister, Jenny Laine, 2014.
