Philip Dohmen

Philip Richard Dohmen, age 61 of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.  A private service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Phil was born in Primghar, Iowa on January 9, 1960 to Raymond and Dorothy (Hardin) Dohmen.  He attended Alden High School in Alden, Iowa.  Phil served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Lexington.  Phil worked various jobs over the years including Lonsdale Tool, and the Union Hill Bar.  He enjoyed collecting coins and hats.  He was also a classic rock and NASCAR enthusiast.  He is preceded in death by his father Ray, and brothers Joseph and Michael.
