Phillip J. Hensler Jr.

Phillip Joseph Hensler Jr. age 51 of Mankato, formerly of Le Sueur died at Laural Peaks  in Mankato on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.  Memorial service will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m, Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at a later time with his parents at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Phillip was born on May 4, 1971 in Le Sueur, MN to Phillip “Rusty’ and. Annette (Griep) Hensler.  He grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Mankato East High School.  He lived with LeAnn and Robert Sweeney and their family for years in Mankato.  He worked at many jobs with MRCI including Johnson Fishing. He enjoyed Special Olympics, LEEP activities and Band Wagon in Mankato. He attended Camp every summer where he swam and did crafts.

PJ enjoyed family time especially Holidays with Barb, Charlie, Ryan, Caleb, Eli, Isaiah, Jacob, Emma, Jess, Christian, Ciara, and lil Charlie. He is survived by his siblings; Barb, Jean and Pat Baynes, Peggy Verschelde, Mary Kendal, Paulette Lefeur, and Ann Kvasnicka as well as Wonderful nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
