Randy W. Pautz

Randy Wayne Pautz, age 75 of St. Peter and formerly of LeSueur died on December 16, 2023, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Rev. Jan Crissinger will officiate. Interment, with military rites, will be in Calvary Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Randy was born on October 17, 1948, in St. Peter, Minnesota to Alfred and LaVerna (Weinkauf) Pautz. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1966. Randy married Nancy Monahan on October 25, 1969, at St. Anne’s Church in LeSueur. He was well known for his Quality Appliance business in Le Sueur, later worked for Empire Gas in LeSueur, and eventually retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Mankato. He retired to and lived in St. Peter. Randy was an avid sports fan whether hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, or his greatest passion, watching his kids and grandkids from the bleachers.

He is survived by his children, Jeff (Becky) Pautz of Rochester and Jamie (Scott) Janni; three grandchildren, Brian Pautz, Emma & Grant Janni. Sibling, Darryl (Linda) Pautz of Judith Gap, Montana, and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy in 2003, parents, infant son, and other relatives.
