Raymond J. Andresen

Raymond A. Andresen, formerly of Le Sueur, passed away September 4, 2019 at his home in Chicago, Illinois.  Ray was born in Le Sueur to Clarence and Geneva (Morganthaler) Andresen on August 13, 1936.

He graduated from Le Sueur High School and then studied to be a chef at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, MN.  He then served in the United States Army.  He moved to Chicago, Illinois and worked at many fine restaurants in the area.  He enjoyed spending summer at his lake home near Chicago.   His passion was genealogy and he loved searching back into his ancestry.

Ray is survived by one brother, C.J. Andresen of Le Sueur, many nieces and nephews and special friend Bill Kesler of Chicago, Illinois.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Richard and Donald and his sister-in-law, Joyce (Balk) Andresen.

A private burial service is planned.
