Raymond A. Hartwig

Raymond A. Hartwig, age 67 of Willmar, formerly of the Le Sueur area, died on Monday, June 6, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Jesus Assembly of God Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday morning. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter, MN. Ray was born on May 22, 1944 to Alfred and Eileen (McLarne) Hartwig. He grew up in Le Sueur and worked at the Le Sueur Foundry before running his own construction company. Ray married Linda Mediger on Sept. 3, 1982 in Le Center, MN. The couple moved to the Willmar area in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Linda Children;Chris VanBuren of Denton, TX Renee (Chris) Evenstad of Minnetonka, MN John Remer of Victoria, MN Grandchildren;Sophie & Beret Evenstad; Sister-in-Law,Anne (Dick) Fisher of St. Louis Park, MN He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Donald Hartwig and Noreen Hiniker.
